Going by the intro, you would think that this blog is fuelled by some deep-rooted feminist ideologies. But, in Maya Angelou’s words it is for no greater reason than, “I’ve been female for a long time now. I’d be stupid not to be on my own side.”
All through my life, I have had some strong female influencers and my mother was the biggest of them all. She was an inspiring schoolteacher, a nurturing mother, a supportive wife, a loving sister, helpful aunt… the list goes on. She balanced all those roles and more with panache and single-minded devotion. She has shaped me into the woman I am today, and I dedicate this blog in her loving memory. MY SUPERMUM - THE #1 SUPERSHEILA IN MY LIFE!
SUPERSHEILA is a celebration of the 'Super' in every 'Sheila', and I look forward to building a community of like-minded people via this blog. A community bound by a common goal - to shine the beacon of compassion, love, hope and positivity through our actions.
